“Amanzi Means Water” is Amanzi’s motto – and in landlocked areas of Africa, water means game viewing…
The Amanzi Private Game Reserve and Game Lodge is only an hour’s drive from Bloemfontein in the Central Free State, in beautiful ‘Bushveld’ surroundings – despite being slap bang in the middle of the Free State ‘Maize Triangle’ – a vast landlocked area of farmland that forms an integral part of South Africa’s crop and produce production.
Amanzi offers game viewing on foot, on horseback and on mountain bikes!
Accommodation is provided in luxury chalets or Caravan Park with campsites
Activities on Amanzi include guided walking trails, horse trails, mtb, archery, swimming and game drives. Animals that can be seen on the trails include Lechwe, Sable Antelope, Eland, Cape Buffalo, Kudu, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion and many more species besides, with a total of 30 species represented.
Getting there: Take the R30 east from Bloemfontein to Brandfort, then the R703 north from Brandfort for a further 10km.
