Montagu is world famous for its hot water springs. From time way back in history, water has been bursting from a fissure in the rock face, in a cavern some 5 meters underground. The water comes to the surface from a depth of 3km at a constant 43°C, and the rate of flow is unaffected, by even the worst droughts.

The water is 100% clear & clean with a near perfect Ph when it reaches the surface and it contains a number of minerals, chemicals & other trace elements. It requires no further treatment. For hygiene reasons the water is of course chlorinated, but is not recycled and is continuously drained off into the river that flows past the property. You are always enjoying a natural wonder at its finest.

Directions: From Montagu, take Cross Street which runs into the R318 (Bath Street) and follow for about 3km. From the N1, take the R318 to Keisie River Valley and Montagu Springs is just 3km before you get to Montagu.
