Berg-en-Dal Rest Camp, Kruger National Park

Elephants playing in the river near Berg-en-Dal rest camp in the Kruger National ParkBuilt on the site of prehistoric settlements, Berg-en-Dal Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park is the only rest camp in the park to be situated in a mountainous environment.

This is the southern-most camp in the park, which also makes it the closest and easiest camp to access from many of the gateway towns in Mpumalanga.

Game viewing is particularly interesting in this area of the park, as this is the only section where rolling mountains are found. For this reason, leopard are often seen on night drives from the camp, which shouldn’t be missed during your stay! Elephant sightings are also very common at the waterhole nearby, and are occasionally seen spotted at the dam which borders the camp. Bookings and info
