Blaauwbosch Trout Inn is located in Waterval Boven, a quaint hamlet in Mpumalanga.
The Inn offers self catering accommodation. There is a solar heated pool on the premises. It is situated on a 103 hectare property where all chalets are situated around a trout dam.
Enjoy a walk through the property and see the scattered and unexplained ruins dating back 75 000 years. Blaauwbosch Trout Inn boasts a well stocked dam where fly fishing is very popular. Other activities include hiking through the mountains and birding. Alternatively, venture out and see other attractions nearby including Dullstroom’s Birds of Prey Centre, the Elands Waterfall, Blyde River Canyon or the magnificent Gods Window.
There are four chalets accommodating between 2 and 10 people. All chalets have their own deck, braai area and place to build a bonfire. All the chalets have a fireplace. Some have towels provided. All chalets are fully equipped for self catering purposes.

Take N12 from Johannesburg to Machadodorp. In Witbank the N12 changes to the N4. Continue with the N4 and pass through the Machadodorp toll gate, and after 2km take the left hand fork R36 (not Waterval Boven) and follow the Blaauwbosch signs; after 300m turn left towards the old closed down petrol station. Turn right and pass in front of the Cape Dutch house, then take the right hand fork in road, pass over the river bridge and go through a wooden horse boom.
