Bonniedale is a 1650ha fynbos farm situated in the Attaquaskloof in the Outeniqua Mountains between Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn and is surrounded by the Attaquaskloof Nature Reserve. Bonniedale is well-known for its variety of plants (“fynbos”), mammals and birds. It is a paradise for ornithologists but you will also find other animals living in their natural surroundings such as rhebuck, steenbuck, bushbuck, klipspringer, baboons, porcupines, and in a lucky moment even kudu, lynx, hyena or leopard can be observed.
The beautiful, rugged landscape is home to one of the top five 4×4 routes in South Africa (Drive Out Magazine). The farm itself has 35km of 4×4 trails. The public road through Attaquaskloof is also suitable for softroaders, 4×2´s and on/off road motorcycles. We also issue permits for the 20km historical ox-wagon trail through the adjoining Attaquas Nature Reserve. There are a number of other options depending on what type of vehicle or motorbike you have, how long you have and your skill level. Before making up your mind, speak to Danette on +2744 695 3175.
