The Buffelsvlei Wild Animal Park in Potchefstroom is a small 540ha free-roaming reserve for a number of bird and animal species, including many species of both small and large antelope, zebra and giraffe.
In addition to guided game drives, other activities are also offered – from horse-riding to quad-biking and paintball, to ‘telescope’ game viewing from a hill in the centre of the small reserve.
Buffelsvlei welcomes day visitors, but also offers accommodation in a luxury Safari Lodge.
Getting there: Buffelsvlei is situated 20km outside of Potchefstroom on the Carletonville Road, near the Boskop Dam.
