During 2020, the very talented artist, Christiaan Baartman, released two singles, titled My Vrou and Die Beste Deel.
Both of these singles were received extremely well by radio stations and are still featuring on various charts nationwide. He is now following up on these successful releases with his next single, VOOR DIE KERK, an extraordinary love story for that special person in your life.
Christiaan Baartman is the son of a reverent and in his youth, there was a young chap who visited his sister with his Honda motorbike. “My father was obviously not impressed with him with his 250cc noisemaker, parked in front of his door every night. In the end, he was actually a very pleasant, nice young man who was only interested in something that was out of the norm of church life. And that, was the inspiration for this love song,” says Christiaan.
The song was produced in a pop-folk style by the talented Jattie de Beer from Artistry Productions and will make your feet itch. Sean Manley from Manley Studios was responsible for the final mix of the song.
Christiaan remembered an extraordinary love story in far less uncomplicated time… and pinned it down. Thís, is VOOR DIE KERK.
