Christie Prins Hiking Trail, Prince Alfred’s Hamlet

Christie Prins Hiking Trail, Prince Alfred's HamletThe Christie Prins hiking trails start and end on Koelfontein farm, 4km north-west of Prince Alfred’s Hamlet in the Skurweberg Mountains.

This hiking trail was established as an Eco-tourism project by one of the local primary schools. The route is named after a local conservationist of the area.

There are two routes: One of ±2 hours, which wanders through fynbos and has spectacular views and one of ±4 hours which has a steep incline for 1km and has a lovely natural pool for cooling off.
