The Sandton Craft & Design Centre was setup as a platform for creative workers to showcase and sell their products to local and international shoppers. The crafts that these local people produce are of exceptional quality and would add an African nuance to any international home.
The centre has a coffee shop and a space where crafters, designers and others can exchange ideas and showcase their skills.
Not only does the Design Centre offer the local crafty entrepreneurs a hub to sell and work from, it also provides design and product development, quality control sales and marketing and Training and skills development through relevant workshops
The products on display are innovative and captivating. So if it’s a large carved giraffe you seek or a somewhat smaller beaded trinket, then head to the Sandton Craft and Design centre to support our local talent and purchase a piece of South Africa
It is located on the busy corner of Rivonia Road and West Street – just off Nelson Mandela Square – in Sandton, a tourist, shopping, business and financial hub.
