Creation Wine Estates is situated in the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven-and-Earth) Valley near Hermanus in the Western Cape where cool breezes from the Atlantic Ocean, the mountain slopes and the ideal soil condition combine to make the area one of the best wine-growing areas in the world.
The Creation farm lies on the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge where the vineyards were planted in 2002, about 350m above sea level on virgin land never before planted, with virus-free vines of only the finest varietal clones. The state-of-the-art cellar was completed in time for the 2007 harvest utilizing the latest technology to take full advantage of the excellent grapes produced on the farm.
The varieties produced are Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay and Semillon in the whites and Pinot Noir, Merlot, Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon/Petit Verdot, and Syrah Grenache in the reds. In their short history, the wines have won numerous awards.
The estate is a member of the Biodiversity & Wine Initiative (BWI), and is dedicated to preserving the natural flora and fauna in the area.
Wine Tasting takes place daily between 10H00 and 17H00.
Sunday until 16h00.
Wine & Food Pairing and Lunch daily between 11H00 and 15H00.
Sunday until 17H00.
