Dam Fine Cafe, Rawsonville, Western Cape

Dam Fine Cafe, Rawsonville

The restaurant, Dam Fine Cafè, was built next to the walls of an old farm dam that dates from the early 1900’s. The al fresco eating area is shaded by a canopy of ancient oak trees. The Cafe is in the middle of a farm, and while you are enjoying your break, the kids can experience all the farm animals – horses, goats, pig, hen, rooster, bunnies..

On Sundays, a traditional South African buffet is served, as well as a limited menu.

The restaurant, which accommodates 70 guests comfortably with an additional 80 guests outside under the green canopy of oak trees, caters for all types of functions including weddings, office and birthday parties, promotions, reunions and family get-togethers. It is fully licensed and only stocks award-winning wines from the Breede River valley.

As one guest said “We had a fantastic breakfast here, service was great and the food even better – I highly recommend the omelette! Quirky setting near all the animals, we really enjoyed our meal”.
