Daniell Cheetah Breeding project in Kirkwood, part of the Greater Addo tourist route, is just 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth.
The project, which has grown in leaps and bounds, offers the visitor an interactive experience with these magnificent cats while your personal tour guide gives you an excellent insight into cheetah life and the importance of conserving this species.
Feel what it is like to touch them or hear them “purr” or even have your photo taken with some of them.
This project began in 2001 with only 3 animals and has since grown with breeding, purchasing and swapping of animals to the extent that the project can play its full part in the cheetah conservation effort as well as contribute to the re-establishment of pure gene lines.
We are open 7 days a week, and can be found on the R75 national road, 40km from Uitenhage and just 80km from the Port Elizabeth airport. Coffee, tea and light meals can be ordered for take-away or sit-down meals
