
Dunlop Partners with Gran Turismo as Official Tyre Supplier
Dunlop – long synonymous with motorsport innovation and performance – has announced a landmark partnership with the legendary Gran Turismo franchise. The brand becomes the official tyre partner for Gran Turismo 7 on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, as well as the Gran Turismo World Series.
Since its debut in 1997, Gran Turismo has captivated more than 90 million players worldwide, setting the benchmark for realism in racing simulation with its lifelike graphics and near-authentic driving physics.
This collaboration follows a major development for Dunlop’s parent company, Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI), which recently acquired global rights to the Dunlop brand. The move strengthens Dunlop’s international presence and reinforces its motorsport heritage.

From Round Two of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series in Berlin, Dunlop tyres will feature as the official choice for competitors. Upcoming Gran Turismo 7 updates will also spotlight the brand in multiple ways:

Brand Central Museum: A new Dunlop section will highlight over 130 years of innovation and motorsport milestones.

Trackside Branding: The Dunlop logo will feature prominently on in-game circuits.

Tuning Shop: Players will be able to equip their cars with Dunlop tyres.

Special Events: A Dunlop-themed time trial challenge is in development.
