ELRO manufactures traditional, quality, sold wood furniture in a family run factory in Wolseley. The company started out in 1936, as a hobby for its founder, Louis le Roux, who ran his business from his backyard, and from there, it developed into the well-known furniture business it is today. ELRO furniture is one of the oldest family owned furniture businesses in South Africa and is currently owned and managed by Louis le Roux’s two sons, Jan and Louis.

Jan grew up in ELRO and has 37 years’ experience in the furniture business. He is a perfectionist in every way and to meet his high standards, he does all the work himself. Louis, like Jan, grew up in ELRO and has  29 years’ experience. The expertise is definitely still in the family to keep up the fine traditions.
