Gold Reef City is a unique Entertainment Complex in the city of Johannesburg comprising the Gold Reef City Casino and the Gold Reef City Theme Park which is built around the history of gold mining and a working Gold Mine.

The Casino complex also incorporates a 4 star Hotel with conference facilities and restaurants and encompassing the plush Lyric Theatre and The Globe – Johannesburg’s original Theatre, built in the 1800’s and rich in history.

The full size Lyric Theatre hosts West End and Broadway shows as well as other large scale productions, while the smaller and “more intimate” Globe Theatre hosts jazz, comedy and review shows, amongst other entertainment.

Getting there: Gold Reef City is situated 8kms from the Johannesburg City Centre and a 20 minute drive from Oliver Tambo airport on the Northern Parkway just off the M1, and next to the Booysens offramp.
