The first Graham Beck wine farm was established by the prominent South African industrialist in 1983 in Robertson in the Western Cape. Before his passing in 2010 he purchased farms in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek consolidating all his farms under the Graham Beck brand.
The Franschhoek farm, situated in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Western Cape, is ideally suited for growing many varietals due to the cool Mediterranean climate, the granite and sandstone soils and the steep terrain. 70Ha have been planted to Pinotage, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot.
Surrounded by landscaped gardens and spectacular sculptures, the magnificent cellar is a seamless synergy of high-tech contemporary design and award winning architectural detail and functionality – capable of crushing 1500 tons of grapes in a season.
You will be warmly welcomed by the staff at the tasting centre where you can sample world class wines in beautiful surroundings.
