
The Groundcover Leather Company is the product of a passion to work with leather, and the search for a livelihood made out of a passion.
Opened in 1990 by Justin and Amanda McCarthy on a farm in the Kwazulu-Natal Midlands, the company has grown from small beginnings and has become known as makers of fine, quality leather accessories. This is a family business, and is built on a special bond between family members at Groundcover, all aspiring to create unique and quality leather products.

Getting there: From Durban, pass 3 Howick offramps on the N3. Take exit 114 Lions River/ Currys Post. Right under the Freeway towards currys post. 3km on gravel to T-Junction. Turn left onto Tarred Road. Groundcover is 800metres down on the left.
