Danielle Dalton and Nonhlanhla Ntsele from Hirsch’s popped round to Ithemba Labasha, a non profit NPO for children in the Shakas Head area, recently, to hand out a range of cleaning detergents for the centre, to help keep hygiene standards up on a daily basis. The centre supports 145 children in this economically disadvantaged area. With the help of the unwavering support of co-ordinators, Debbie Joubert and Elna Rootman and the assistance of Felicia Zamile, Doreen Yengwa and Sylvia Gwayi the children live in a hygienic environment, however, having the groceries donated means that they ensure the centre remains this way for longer periods of time, and at lower costs to them.
“ Ithemba Labasha provide such a happy place for the children to interact in, and if we as a community can help out with the facility, it would go a long way in assisting the project leaders with the running of the centre, “ said Hirsch Ballito PRO, Danielle . For more information and if you would like to make a donation, contact Debbie Joubert on debbiej2@telkomsa.net.
