Booming Games Enters The South African Gaming Market With The Help Of Intelligent Gaming

Booming Games, one of the world’s top slot providers, announced in early July 2024 that they will be launching their slot games on online casinos in South Africa. This was thanks to the collaboration with Intelligent Gaming South Africa, who aided in localization testing and certification.
Thanks to the partnership with Intelligent Gaming South Africa, Booming Games will be able to launch their beloved slot games across Intelligent Gaming’s network.
South Africa is renowned for its regulated online casino scene, viewed by many experts as one of the most exciting emerging markets. The online market accounts for 50.3% of SA’s gross gambling revenue as of February 2024, thanks to the many online sportsbooks, real money casinos and Bitcoin casinos (or other cryptocurrency casinos) that have entered the market. Bitcoin casinos have especially become popular in the country, as it allows players to gamble with, and win cryptocurrency.
And now with Booming Games entering the local market, the variety of slots on online casinos is about to increase. Solomon Godwin, Booming Games’ Head of Africa, stated: “South Africa is key to our development goals, so it’s exciting to get on board with a partner such as Intelligent Gaming… we’re thoroughly looking forward to working with them”.
This enthusiasm is shared by Intelligent Gaming, with Managing Director Marc Plaxton Harrison saying: “[Booming Games] is such an exciting suite of games, and our network is excited about the launch. In the coming weeks, our network… will be able to offer fantastic games like Buffalo Hold and Win, Burning Classics Go Wild, Gold Gold Gold, TNT Bonanza, Cash Pig and Flaming Chilies”.
Booming Games is known to enter into partnerships with gaming networks in different countries, with South Africa being their latest venture. Earlier this year, Booming Games partnered with Kaizen Gaming, a GameTech company in Greece. It also collaborated with BetArabia from Lebanon and Danske Spil in Denmark. Additionally, the company obtained a licence to access the Romanian market.
In South Africa, Intelligent Gaming SA is credited with bringing many online slots and other iGaming titles to the local market. Three years ago, Incentive Games, a sports gaming developer, also joined forces with the local company to offer its portfolio of games to the South African market.
In the same year, world-famous gaming provider Pragmatic Play negotiated with Intelligent Gaming South Africa to distribute their products in South Africa. Intelligent Gaming was the first operator in the country to get access to Pragmatic Play’s suite of products.
It seems that Intelligent Gaming is an unstoppable force with the main aim to see the gaming industry in South Africa thrive. With so many great games across their networks of over 30 operators, they’re a key player in the growth of the local online casino market.
