Jacaranda FM Partners With Hey Neighbour

Jacaranda FM Partners With Hey Neighbour As The Festival’s Official Media Partner

Following a wildly successful inaugural event in 2023, the highly anticipated Hey Neighbour Music Festival is set to make its return in 2025
 — now rescheduled to December 2025 for a stronger, more sustainable festival experience. Jacaranda FM is thrilled to announce its official media partnership for this epic musical celebration, which promises to be a defining cultural moment on the South African entertainment calendar.

Originally slated for 30 and 31 August at Legends Adventure Park in Pretoria, the organisers have opted to move the festival to December to allow more time for planning, artist coordination, and infrastructure development. The new dates and a confirmed lineup will be announced on 30 September 2025, with ticket holders assured their passes remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available until 10 October 2025.

Jacaranda FM is proud to join forces with Hey Neighbour to bring listeners and music lovers closer to this premium event, ensuring comprehensive coverage and exclusive content throughout the lead-up and during the festival weekend.

This year’s headline acts were initially set to include international heavyweights Doja Cat, Leon Thomas, Central Cee, and Black Coffee, alongside a powerful local line-up featuring Elaine, Muzi, Akio, DJ Nkosh, DJ Lochive, Nia Pearl, Tortured Soul, Sun-El Musician, Holly Rey, DJ Lag, Adillah, and Khuli Chana — with more artists expected to be confirmed closer to the revised date.

“Music is in our DNA, and we’re proud to partner with a festival that not only brings world-class talent to our doorstep, but also celebrates homegrown artists and fans,” says Vuyani Dombo, Managing Director at Jacaranda FM. “Hey Neighbour is more than a music event — it’s a cultural moment, and this event perfectly aligns with Jacaranda FM’s commitment to delivering top-tier entertainment and unforgettable experiences to our audience. As a station that thrives on connecting communities, we’re excited to bring the energy of this festival to our listeners.”

Festival founder Glen Netshipise emphasised that the decision to shift dates was not taken lightly, but is rooted in a vision of longevity: “We’re incredibly excited to welcome Jacaranda FM as one of our official media partners for Hey Neighbour this year. Their energy and deep connection with their diverse audience make them the perfect match for what we’re building. This partnership is more than just media — it’s about amplifying the spirit of togetherness that defines Hey Neighbour.”

With the December shift, fans can expect an elevated experience that remains true to the festival’s core — a dynamic mix of world-class performances, community connection, and celebration of culture. Full details, including confirmed dates and updated artist announcements, will follow at the end of September.

Festival-goers can expect high-energy performances, world-class production, and a weekend to remember at this year’s Hey Neighbour festival. Fans are urged to secure their spots early for what promises to be a weekend to remember.
