Jesse Jordan Band, Cape Town based Contemporary Rock Group, launched their newest album, “Ready For The World” to fans and supporters across the Western Cape, South Africa and the World. The event took place on Tuesday 31 January 2012 at Die Boer in Durbanville. This performance is more than a show, it is the showcasing of the band’s signature songwriting style and energy that has had fans hooked on them from the start.
For over 11 years since starting his professional career Jesse Jordan still gives 150% when on stage.
Jesse presents a powerful performance with fellow band members Hein Schultz on Lead Guitar, Logan Scott on Bass and JP Crouch on Drums. 
The Ready For The World album went into production with Producer and Recording Engineer Jürgen Von Wechmar in the Winter of 2011, but has been in writing for the past 3-4 years and what you hear is the synergy of talents, creative energy and life experiences all invested into this product.
JJB released the 1st single and title track off the album Ready For The World and did a series of promotional interviews which included interviews on 94.5 Kfm, UCT Radio and Expresso Morning Show on SABC3, gaining instant public response and popularity.
The CD launch kicks off the band’s album tour, which includes shows around the Western Cape, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Namibia. More info to follow… Special guest artists Gareth James and Elzahn Rinquest did acoustic performances as opening acts for the show. At the launch the band spoilt the crowd with a marathon 21 song set.
Every song on this Album is a surprise and you almost cannot help but be amazed by the talent and versatility of these performers and Jesse’s songwriting skills. “Ready for the World” has songs from just about every genre and you are sure to find a song on this album that makes your toes curl.. no matter who you are.
You know a band is really good if there is that couple of seconds of stunned silence in between when a song ends, and when the crowd starts applauding..and we had quite a few of those moments on launch night.
