Joubertina is a very small agricultural town in the Langkloof Valley of the Eastern Cape.
Joubertina is situated on the R62, north of the Tsitsikamma mountains, and lies on the Fruit Route – a self-drive route that runs through the Langkloof from south to north, taking in the various fruit farms in this fertile and scenic valley.
Apart from the rural vistas and surrounding mountain scenery, Joubertina attractions include the Kouga Wilderness Area near Joubertina, and the Baviaans Mega Reserve in the neighbouring Baviaanskloof area.
Getting there: From Port Elizabeth take the N2 west, taking exit 627 for Kareedouw, on the R62. From Plettenberg Bay take the N2 east toward Port Elizabeth, taking the exit left off onto the R102 for Kareedouw, just before the toll gate.
Turn left at Kareedouw on the R62 for Joubertina, which is about 45kms back in westerly direction.
