The Klaserie area south of Hoedspruit, in the Valley of the Olifants (Mopani District) of Limpopo is the location of the Klaserie Private Game Reserve. The 60 000ha expanse in the lush Lowveld Bushveld borders the Kruger National Park and the famous Timbavati Game Reserve, and is a part of the Greater Kruger National Park.
There are a number of safari lodges and camps in Klaserie, as well as a train strop, shop and the Klaseriedam Camping and Fishing Resort.
Getting there: Take the ‘Klaserie Road’ south from Hoedspruit, for 25km.
