Koro Creek Golf Course is part of the Koro Creek Bushveld Golf Estate situated near Modimolle (Nylstroom) about 90 minutes from Pretoria in Limpopo Province, South Africa. The area is one of South Africa’s most popular wildlife destinations because of the fact that it is malaria free. The course is as close to nature as one can get and part of the course meanders its way through real African bushveld where wild animals roam free (only the ones that don’t bite). It is adjacent to the Nylsvlei Nature Reserve which will be incorporated into the estate.
The course is ranked in the top hundred in South Africa and was designed by DDV Design Group and is maintained by Wonder Gardens who were involved in the development of Leopard Creek and the Links at Fancourt. It is an 18 hole championship course, 6800m long with 4 tee boxes on every hole to accommodate all levels of golfer.
The thatched clubhouse blends in beautifully with the bushveld surroundings but the décor is sophisticated English/African with sumptuous leather couches and upholstered dining chairs creating a relaxed comfortable ambience. The clubhouse has all of the amenities one could wish for and more – an 80 seater restaurant, bar, well stocked pro shop and conference facilities. Watch the African sunset from the patio overlooking the estate with the bushveld as a backdrop.
