Durban International Film Festival

The 46th Durban International Film Festival (DIFF) runs from July 17 to July 27, 2025. As far as we know, the films will be showcased at Numetro theaters across South Africa, proudly hosted by the Centre for Creative Arts at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. As Southern Africa’s most venerable and expansive film festival—established in 1979—it presents nearly 100 regional premiere screenings, spanning feature films, documentary films, shorts, and student works.
