Peppertree Art Stable & Coffee Shop, Philadelphia, Swartland

Pepper Tree Art Stable and Coffee Shop PhiladelphiaThe Peppertree Art Stable and Coffee Shop seems to be the beating heart in Philadelphia for locals and visitors alike. The environment of art and culture, and the huge Pepper Tree at the popular coffee shop, make an excellent backdrop to a fine, home cooked meal and glass of wine.

In summer, the alfresco setting is perfect for breakfast, delicious home-baked cakes and light lunches served with the finest roasted coffee, teas, and home-made juices under the shade of the big Pepper Tree.

In winter we light a fire in our little Dover stove and strive to entice you with the smell of our own home baked bread and soup. Come and enjoy some of our locally produced preserves, and honey from our local bee keeper. Free range eggs are also on sale.

At the Peppertree Art Stable we offer a range of wide range of hand crafted goods and unique art crafted by talented artists from Cape Town. Regular exhibitions add a fresh influx of work every few weeks. For those creatively inclined, we offer art classes for beginners and more advanced artists. Half day tutoring by local artist Leonie e. Brown is given in the Peppertree Art Gallery.

We also stock a superb publication of “The etchings of Pieter van Der Westhuizen” and a limited edition art book on “Pieter van Der Westhuizen”. This book contains over 500 full cover images of the artist paintings.
