Peppertree House is situated in the picturesque town of Fort Beaufort, in the beautiful Eastern Cape.
The Victorian style establishment has an exquisite park-like garden surrounding a sparkling swimming pool which is exclusively for guests. The main house oozes old school charm with its oregan floors and spacious high ceilings. There is a wonderful verandah where guests can relax and enjoy a cool beverage. A delicious English breakfast is served al fresco or in the dining room.
There are many activities and places of interest in the Fort Beaufort area. A nature reserve will have birders and nature lovers in awe. Wonderful hiking trails can be enjoyed. A number of picnic spots with breathtaking views of the surrounding area can be visited and even animal lovers will find game viewing excursions in the area.
The main house offers 2 double and 1 twin en-suite bedrooms, beautifully decorated to blend old school charm with modern characteristics. The old stable, now a restored 2-bedroom cottage, is fully equipped for self catering purposes. The design is open plan and guests can also enjoy the upstairs area which has a balcony overlooking the stunning gardens. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, TV and braai facilities.
