Randfontein Golf Course is part of the Randfontein Golf and Country Club situated in the mining town of Randfontein west of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The course was laid out by the renowned Bob Grimsdell in the early part of the nineteen hundreds and extensively redesigned by Golf Data in 1993.
Today the course is one of the top hundred courses in South Africa and is in pristine condition year round. It was owned and managed by the Randfontein Estates Gold Mine but is now owned by three entrepreneurs who have made it into a 5 star retreat. This parkland course is aesthetically very pleasing and is not short of challenges attracting golfers from far and wide.
The course is open seven days a week and visitors are welcome.
