“Rating of Public Hospitals” Patients Rating Initiative

Public-Hospitals-to-be-ratedThe Department of Health is taking steps to enhance the quality of services in public hospitals by introducing a new initiative that allows patients to rate their experiences. From July to September, patients and members of the public will have the opportunity to provide feedback on their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the level of care they received.

In Gauteng, patients can now actively participate in the annual Patient Experience of Care (PEC) survey. Survey forms are readily available at all public healthcare facilities, ensuring easy access for individuals seeking to share their opinions.
