Rivendell is a boutique wine farm, neighbour to the exclusive Arabella Golf Estate, and set in some of the world’s most elite wine growing territory.

Just off the N2 on the R43, Rivendell is ideally placed for a quick stop-over at our Mediterranean-style bistro, a leisurely tasting of Rivendell’s wine, to purchase a selection of the regions’ world renowned wines, or just some wholesome relaxing family time.

So whether you are a local, tourist or passer-by, you are cordially invited to stop by and sample our select wine and superb food.

The Bistro’s vibrant executive chef captures the diversity of the Overberg by preparing fabulous Mediterranean-style food from fresh local produce that will please the most decadent palate. Healthy options are also on the menu for toddler taste buds.

Open from 08:00 till 17:00, the menu offers an exciting selection of breakfast dishes, to be savoured with a freshly brewed cup of robust Arabica, prepared by Rivendell’s Barista, while overlooking a breath-taking vista of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. For a relaxing leisurely lunch you can choose from a variety of true Mediterranean style Tapas dishes, platters, salads, gorgeous vegetarian dishes and more.

The outside area is perfect for picnics from our Bistro and families are encouraged to come and enjoy the natural surroundings unique to the area.

Rivendell sets an unparalleled standard in bespoke functions and caters for any occasion.
