Crazy fun in Serbia, a brand new International Rom-Com Feature Film produced by Telic Studio’s and Mr. S Shridhar from the UK will hit the South Africa Screens in 2020. The Rom-Com, produced in Serbia is exclusively made for the SA Audiences with the synopsis of the film centred around 4 guys in South Africa that wins a trip to Belgrade, Serbia. Fun in the sun, with loads of comedic moments, is inevitable as these guys make their way to this unknown yet beautiful city.
The film commenced principal photography on the 1st of September 2019 in Serbia with most of the main cast being young and new and fresh upcoming local and international actors. Amongst the stars on the film is well-known actor and presenter Jonothan Boynton Lee who makes a guest appearance in the film as a very wealthy investor, Christian de Witt as well as popular, fun and comedic well-known South African Actor Siv Ngesi who plays the role of a life coach in the movie. Two popular household names in South Africa who will star on the screen of this film with its release expected in Cinemas in 2020.
Travelling with the cast was Nicho Barnard. South African Actor, Director & Producer well-known for his work in the film and theatre industry in South Africa. Nicho was appointed as an Assistant Director for the film and travelled to Serbia for 3 weeks in September to work alongside the production company on this film. Nicho also received an Executive Producer status on the project for his work and even made a stan-lee moment cameo appearance as a journalist in the film.
Serbia is amazing. It’s a beautiful country with so much to offer. The culture and people are incredible and I had so much fun working on this film.
