Top Billing Returns 2026

After six years off-air, South Africa’s most glamorous lifestyle show is back — and it’s not just a comeback, it’s a reinvention. Top Billing returns to SABC 3 in March 2026, promising a bold new chapter that blends timeless elegance with youthful energy.

🎬 A Sunset Reunion Sparks a New Era

Hosted at the oceanfront Tintswalo Atlantic, the reunion event was a celebration of legacy and future. Former presenters, producers, and media insiders gathered in cocktail chic to toast the revival of a show that defined aspirational living for over two decades.

“It’s nostalgic, it’s thrilling — I feel like a child in a candy store,” said executive producer Basetsana Kumalo, who helped shape the show’s DNA.

Luxury Meets Local: A Fresh Format

The reboot will spotlight rising talentmodern design, and South African coastal gems, thanks to a new partnership with Corona. Four local beaches — Nature’s Valley, Kraalbaai, Boulders Beach, and Camps Bay — earned global recognition on the brand’s Beach 100 list, and will feature in the Top Billing Reunion Special airing 27 November 2025.

TikTok Billing to Top Billing?

Buzz is building around Sinemivuyo Mpulu, creator of the viral TikTok Billing series, as a potential new face. Kumalo praised the concept as “clever,” hinting at Top Billing’s enduring cultural relevance.

Familiar Faces, Fresh Voices

The reunion brought together alumni like Ryle de Morny, Michael Mol, Janez Vermeiren, and Harmony Katulondi — alongside new-generation creators like Chad Jones. Even reruns have ranked in SABC’s top 10, proving the appetite never faded.

“Bringing the show back is not just about nostalgia,” said S3 channel head Sane Zondi. “It’s about reframing style, aspiration, and culture.”
