Apart from being the tiniest cafe imaginable, Wille Magrietjie is the only other shop in Jacobsbaai. It’s one of those rare shops where everything you see, you want. Everything in the shop is special and reflects the atmosphere of the West Coast. There’s something for everyone, from pottery, jewellery and mosaics to cutlery, clothing and hand-made decor items. The shop also has one of the most beautiful views of any in the country, sitting with its toes just about in the Atlantic Ocean.
Getting there: from Cape Town, take the R27 road along the West Coast. Turn off at the R399 to Saldanha. Cross the road at the T-Junction where it becomes a gravel road. Follow this road into the town of Jacobs Bay.
