Exploring the Wild Coast on horse back is an ideal way to get a true sense of the wild beauty of this unspoiled coastline. And spending ten days riding along endless beaches and traversing the rugged coastline must surely be, “the most glorious horseback holiday in the world!”

The Wild Coast is probably the deep-sea fishing mecca of South Africa. The area, formerly known as the Transkei, has been hailed as South Africa’s premier deep-sea fishing destination for more than half a century, and an excursions with Sunray’s ‘Sea Star’ is an absolute must for guests who are fishing enthusiasts.

The farm boasts a network of walking trails and visitors have the option of walking freely through the indigenous bush to spot the wild game, or for hunting enthusiasts, to participate in a walk-and-stalk bow hunting excursion.

Getting there: follow the N2 going out of East London. After apporximately 20km turn right onto the R349. Sunray farm is situated on the hilltops overlooking Kei Mouth and Morgan Bay, and the turnoff to the farm is on your right-hand side, approximately 30km after turning onto the R349.
