The 230ha Templehof Game Farm is an old farm with beautiful views of the Maluti Moutains and the magnificent sandstone rock formations that charecterise thse mountains, just 15 minutes drive from Ficksburg.
Templehof was converted to a game farm in the late 1990’s. Animals that can be seen on scheduled game drives include Lion, Cheetah, Eland, Zebra, Wild Dog, Springbok and Black Wildebeest.
Highly affordable self catering accommodation is available in charming luxury log cabins, thatch cottages, stone rondawels and shaded camp sites.
Game walks can be arranged by appointment.
Getting there: From Ficksburg take the R70 north-east toward Rosendal. Look out for the turn off to Templehof (gravel road) on your left after about 9km.
