The Chinese automaker Jetour has officially introduced its new T2 SUV to the South African market, expanding its T-series lineup alongside the smaller T1. Both models were unveiled at a media event in Cape Town, with sales set to begin in mid-November through Jetour’s 55 dealerships across Southern Africa.

Engines and Performance

  • 1.5-litre turbo petrol (Aspire trim): 125kW, 270Nm, front-wheel drive.
  • 2.0-litre turbo petrol (Xplora & Odyssey trims): 180kW, 375Nm, paired with Jetour’s XWD Intelligent 4WD system.
  • All models feature a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and up to eight drive modes, including Sport, Snow, Mud, Sand, and X-mode.

Each model includes a 7-year/200,000km warranty, a 7-year/75,000km service plan, and a 10-year/1-million km powertrain warranty for the first owner.
