The Kingdom of the White Lion Park in Broederstroom near Hartbeespoort is surely one of South Africa’s Must See animal attractions.
This lion park and wildlife sanctuary near Johannesburg and Pretoria has gained a great deal of publicity lately thanks to amazing footage of the ‘lion whisperer’ playing with full grown lions and whole prides in a manner that seems to indicate they consider him part of the family…
This is not for the benefit of tourists or putting on a show. Kevin Richardson is on a conservation mission to educate people through film productions, to make the public aware of the impact of South Africa’s ‘canned lion’ hunting industry, and save the rapidly dwindling lion populations in Southern Africa.
