The Nanaga Farm Stall, Eastern Cape

The Nanaga Farm Stall in the Eastern Cape is fast becoming legendary, so if you find yourself road-tripping in the vicinity of the Addo Elephant Park or the Shamwari Game Reserve near Port Elizabeth, be sure to schedule a couple of hours at the very least to enjoy the Nanaga Farm Stall with its fresh farm fare, bottled goods, arts and crafts and restaurant.

Nanaga Farm Stall is situated on a dairy farm on a spot 50km from Port Elizabeth called The Clover Leaf. The name comes from the view of its location from the air – where three national roads come together. The convergence of the N2, R10 and R72 constributes to the success of Nanaga and to the continuing quality and delightful range of the yummy goods on offer – from ‘varsplaas’ (farm fresh) eggs to delicacies, jams other preserves, biltong, dairy products, confectionary to baked goods to teas, herbs and crafts.

Make sure you get there hungry. Nanaga is famous for its pies and ‘roosterkoek’. No, we won’t tell you what that is – you have to go there to find out…
