The 3km stroll along the Klein River, called the Wandelpad is one of the ‘must do’s’, when in Stanford. The beautiful path winds its way along the banks of the Klein River and through the town. The river has incredible scenery, with the big trees, full of bird life including the endangered Blue Crane. Start at the Queen Victoria Street end of the Stanford Wandelpad with its large information board, so you can see what to look out for on the way.
