Heinrich van den Berg is a professional wildlife photographer from South Africa who has just released his latest book “Reflections”.
With the experience of more than 20 books under his belt, Heinrich decided to produce a book that is in a different class, and on a different scale from anything he has done before.
This project has consumed the last four years – taking photographs, writing and planning – and is now revealed.
Why is it so different?
- We used no less than EIGHT inks of different colours to print this book.
- The book is HUGE – 380mm x 310mm x 28mm.
- This is not just a book of wildlife. It is a book of thoughts, reflection and candid philosophy.
- We used only the best paper available (thick 200gsm matt art paper) and ground-breaking special textured UV varnish for the French-folded dust jacket.
For me Reflection is a book I simply had to make, regardless of the production cost.
