The spirit of uBuntu continues with the Pavilion Shopping Centre recently having ran a social media campaign asking members of the public to nominate their most deserving non-profit organisation.
The most deserving received a R 3000 grocery voucher with their #RebuildKZN campaign.
The public voted and the lucky recipient of the voucher went to Inanda’s NPO Unity and Interaction Foundation.
The organisation was founded in August 2020 and serves the interests of local communities in the form of addressing social challenges and improving academic excellence of the youth in all spheres of education and guiding them to discover their full potential. They conduct school visits as well as work alongside other likeminded NPO organisations within other areas such as Port Shepstone, UGU-District Municipality, Mandeni District Municipality and uMlazi community.
Upon receiving the voucher, they expressed their humble appreciation to The Pavilion and those who voted for them being selected, as they feel it validates the good work that they are currently doing within communities.
