The village of Vivo is located at the very western edge of the Soutpansberg Mountain Range, in the gap between the Soutpansberg and the Blouberg Mountain Ranges, and on the road R521 between Polokwane and Alldays.
The village of Vivo is very small, with few shops or amenities, but the area around Vivo features a number of game and hunting lodges. This area is part of the Blouberg district, which encompasses over a 100 ‘settlements’ in the ‘shadow’ of the Blouberg mountain. Look for arts and crafts in and around Vivo.

A notable nearby attraction is the Blouberg Nature Reserve on the Blouberg Mountain.
Getting there: Vivo is an hour from Louis Trichardt on the R522, and an hour and a half from Polokwane on the R521.
