
Worcester Golf Club is situated in the Breede River Valley, about an hour’s drive from Cape Town. At the foot of the Brandwacht Mountains, right next to the N1, you will find this course that was designed by Peter Matkovich in partnership with Gary Player and built in 1988, giving you everything you need in a golf course.
This course is challenging with beautiful views of the town was described by Gary Player as one of the finest in the world.
This is a wonderful Parkland and Links style course with well placed boulders and aloes to indicate the distances to the large bent grass greens. This course consist of 18 unique holes that will definitely punish you if you hit bad shots but at the same time reward you for your good shots. Overlooking this 5770m par 72 course you will find the clubhouse complete with lockers, a putting green and a practise tee.
They have Open Mondays and visitors are welcome. You do not require a handicap unless you are entering a competition. Caddies and rental carts are available and you can also rent clubs if you need to. At the Pro Shop you can buy anything else you need to make it a great day of golfing.
